Beer 93: IPA Belge from Brasserie Dunham, Dunham, Quebec

95 Beers of Summer: Dunham Belge IPA

Belge IPA from Brasserie Dunham in Dunham, Quebec, Canada

A head happy brew!

It foams up like a pufferfish but settles nicely into a sweet and spicy smelling ale. This Quebec brewery makes both an English and Belgian style IPA and the Belgian version is superb.

Taste is very aromatic, plenty of spices blended together with a great hop finish that dries the mouth and begs you to take another sip.

Overall this is the best Belgian style IPA I’ve tried and a great summer beer, as this style is smoother and more drinkable than typical American or West Coast IPA beers.
