This Belgian witbier has a lovely citrus sweet aroma that hints at fresh spices, especially coriander. The orange and coriander mix continue on through the tasting, which is sweet on the lips and refreshingly bright and enjoyable.
Some popular beers deserve their loyal following and Hoegaarden is one of those. It is a very approachable wheat beer with a pleasant dry finish as well. This is a perfect entry for people who haven’t sampled this style before.
