Wicked Wheat Beer: Barnstown Wheat

Barnstown, a Wheat Ale from Quebec

Grapefruit taste is the biggest takeaway for this Quebec brew.

Smells of grapefruit and stale wheat, an odd combination.

Taste is better than the aroma, but a bit generic, without a fresh kick or spiced niceness you get from many wheat beers.

Overall mediocre, not exactly wicked wheat material. The finish is a bit bitter and harsh.
