Wicked Wheat Beer - Furstenberg Dunkel Weizen

Furstenberg Dunkel Weizen from Germany

A dunkel! It’s dark and cloudy, with a fast growing lush looking head.

Smells of malt and sugar, hinting at a sweetness to come.

It is, not surprisingly, relatively sweet and caramelly for a wheat beer, a bit too much sugar IMO but still easy to drink.

With a lingering caramel and butter taste…I liked it overall but was happy to only sample one of these.

If you don’t like dark beers, or malty beers, don’t go for this style of hefeweizen wheat beer.
