Stille Nacht 2010

Stille Nacht (Silent Night) 2010, a great wintery ale from Belgium

This 2010 bottle had a huge apple aroma, slightly cidery, with banana undertones.

A big Belgian ale that is a beautifully orange sunset colour with little head – it’s a pretty still beer overall, not too much carbonation.

Aroma is huge, lots of fruit! Sweet yet it hints at high alcohol too.

Taste is classic Belgian with clove, fruit, apple, spice, yeast and all sorts of flavours mingling in the mouth. Finished fast with a slight fruit lingering.

This beer is a freaking fun time in the flavour department without going overkill on any particular taste. Finish is crisp and is extremely enjoyable, will be seeking this out again in the future.
